The ISAS Social Cooperation Council

The ISAS established the ISAS Social Cooperation Council in April 2013 to discuss with the citizens and the government on an equal footing, to develop education and research through social cooperation, to contribute to society, and to promote business in collaboration with the citizens and the government. キャンパス整備

東京大学では、農学生命科学研究科附属（旧）多摩農場および附属演習林田無試験地が位置する、田無地区のキャンパス整備を計画しております。

このことにつきましては、2008年（平成20年）5月11日に開催された住民説明会において、当時計画されていた多摩農場の千葉県検見川地区への移転を中止し、神奈川県の（元）附属農場二宮果樹園と千葉県検見川地区の（旧）附属緑地植物実験所を田無地区に移転し、農学生命科学研究科・農学部のフィールド教育研究拠点として整備することと、田無地区の一部の敷地が整備対象外になることをご説明いたしました。また、田無地区の名称についても、将来的には西東京キャンパスに変更する意向であることをお伝えしました。以下の説明では、田無地区を西東京キャンパス（仮称）と記します。

その後諸般の事情により、2010年（平成22年）4月1日に当時の多摩農場と緑地植物実験所を改組し、演習林田無試験地の教育研究機能を取り入れて、農学生命科学研究科附属生態調和農学機構が設立されました。それを踏まえて、キャンパス整備計画の一部見直しを含めて整備計画の実現に向けて努力してまいりましたところ、この度、整備計画の概要を公表できる段階に至りました。そこで2011年（平成23年）2月10日に第2回目の住民説明会を開催し、ご参集いただきました100名を超える皆様に、進捗状況を含めてキャンパス整備計画についてご説明いたしました。その概要は以下のとおりです。

• 東京大学のキャンパス計画^a）における西東京キャンパス（仮称）整備計画の位置づけについて、本学三極構造構想^a）に基づくキャンパス再編整備の経緯等を紹介しながらご説明いたしました。

• 農学生命科学研究科・農学部における西東京キャンパス（仮称）整備計画について、以下の5つの重点項目をお示しし、配布資料^b）に基づいて2008年時点と現時点での整備計画を比較しながらご説明いたしました。

1. 西東京キャンパス（仮称）の特性を生かした教育研究
2. 西東京キャンパス（仮称）と弥生キャンパス^c）の連携強化
   c. 本郷地区キャンパスの一部で、農学生命科学研究科・農学部キャンパスの呼称
3. 西東京キャンパス（仮称）と国内外の研究組織等との連携
4. 農林業、消費者、生活者との連携（食の安全、安心、安定の確保）
5. 地域社会とのつながりを重視

• 西東京キャンパス（仮称）の一部の敷地は、整備対象外となります。それらについて、生態調和農学機構内の桜並木を桜並木公園として整備すること、災害時のアクセス向上のために利用することなどについて、西東京市や東京都等と協議を進めていることをご説明いたしました。また、本学のキャンパス整備費用を確保するための土地処分についても、西東京市や東京都等と連携しつつ行っていく方針であることをご説明いたしました。

以上のように、今後も地元西東京市や東京都等の関係機関との連携を密にして、西東京キャンパス（仮称）の整備をできる限り早期に進めたいと考えております。皆様のご理解とご協力をどうかよろしくお願いいたします。
